Sagewater Springs is an intimate 7 room, adults-focused mid-century modern boutique hotel in Desert Hot Springs. The contemporary rooms with King Size Beds face the coutyard, poolside. Most rooms come with Kitchenettes, Streaming TV''s, and free Wifi.
Natural thermal mineral water rises near 150 degrees F, flows through a hot soaking pool into a warm swimming pool, then returns to the desert to recharge the aquifer.
Simple luxury, quiet spaces, and continuous-flow mineral pools define the Sagewater experience. We offer the only Ayurvedic Spa in the Desert-with unique Body Care, Massage and Facials in our Ayurveda Spa.

Where are you located, and how close are you to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree?

We’re in the Mohave Desert on Miracle Hill in Desert Hot Springs at 12689 Eliseo Drive, about 15 minutes from Palm Springs (PSP Airport) and 30 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park. It’s an easy base for desert hikes, stargazing, and day trips.

Is Sagewater Springs adults-only?

Yes. The hotel is a peaceful, adults-focused retreat for guests 18 and older. For family gatherings with children, we welcome you to reserve a private full-property book-out.

How hot are the mineral pools, and how does the water system work?

Our crystal-clear water emerges from a deep well at around 150 degrees. It fills the hot pool, slides into the warm swimming pool, and then flows back into the desert, helping sustain local flora and fauna. Guests love the gentle, continuous circulation and clarity. "It’s the water".

What room types and amenities do you offer?

We have seven modern mid-century rooms including Premium Mountain View King, Poolside King, and Two Queens/Friends. Most include kitchenettes and streaming-ready TVs, with the Two Queens featuring a larger retro-style kitchen setup.

Is there a minimum stay or special booking policies?

Can I reserve the entire property for a private stay?

Are pets allowed?

We occasionally welcome one well-behaved pet per room for a fee. Please enquire upon booking so we can confirm availability and share our simple pet guidelines.
